She was born in France in 1975  and grew up in Mexico. 

Her studies include a Master's degree at le Fresnoy studio national des arts contemporains in France, a Bachelor's Degree at the Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten Den Haag in the Netherlands; Deug, Département Cinéma, Paris VIII and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication at the UASLP in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. 

Her work has been shown among others at: 

Grand Palais «Dans la nuit des Images»  in Paris, Fundación Miró and Loop’07 in Barcelona, La Bande Vidéo in Quebec,  Arts Bridge Project  France-Okayama in Japan, Festival Mediarte 6.0 Monterrey, México, Slick in Paris; Rencontres Internationales Henry Langlois in Poitiers, France; Videoformes Clermont Ferrand, France; Festival óptica Gijón Spain; VIIé Édition des journées de la photographie de Damas, Syria; Art Basel in Miami; Rio Int´l film festival, Rio de Janeiro; Australian Center for the moving images, Sydney and Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland.

 

She has been awarded grants for production/creation and artistic residencies at Le Fresnoy - Studio National des Arts Contemporains where she got an Honorable Mentions for the installation “Washroom”; in Syria by Institut Français and Centre Culturel Français de Damas, Okayama City in Japan, Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, Le Conseil des Arts et des Lettres de Québec and Pépinières européennes in Québec City.
 

In 2010, she curated, together with Aline Herlaut the exhibition De lo visual a lo inusual showing the work of french-based artists, at the Alliance Française in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

 

She currently lives and works in Mexico City

Her artistic research is focused on video installations and photography .

 

Her work deals with the mystery of watching and being watched, surreal scenarios, childhood memories and the ethereal evocation of light.

 

Her pieces are meant to disturb perception through the use of manipulated and modified images.

 

Strongly influenced by cinema, her language offers frequently traditional narrative elements and confronts them to other contemporary forms. Her artistic development has always been marked by the result of close collaborations with composers.
